Important Shipping Update

Dear Girly Bits Customers,
On Monday January 14, 2013 Canada Post made changes to their postal rates. This change has caused the shipping option on PayPal to be unavailable while updates are being made.
We process all of our packages for shipping through PayPal and have been unable to do since it has been unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
A good amount of the orders that were placed since we reopened on January 4, 2013 have been processed. Plenty of them are still sitting here waiting to be processed for shipping but we have been unable to do so since Monday afternoon. If you have not received a shipping confirmation, please assume that your package has been delayed.
We are going to begin manually processing the packages that are ready to go for shipping. This is a time consuming process due to the fact that we will have to physically write out each shipping label and customs form (a good portion of the orders to be shipped are being sent internationally and require a custom form to accompany the package.) We are estimating that this process will take approximately 4 business days.
If you have placed an order that is urgent (i.e. a gift) please email us at orders@girlybitspolish.com to let us know and we will do our best to locate your package and process it immediately. When you email us, please state the email address attached to your PayPal account as this is the easiest way for us to find your order.
Once PayPal shipping is up and running, we will switch back to processing the remainder of the packages for shipping that way. Processing packages through PayPal shipping should only take us one business day.

US Customers
If you have received an update to your zip code in the form of an additional 4 digits to be added to the end, please go to PayPal and update your address accordingly.
We have been advised that failure to do so may result in a delay to your package reaching you. |
Overseas & South American Customers
Effective January 16, 2013, due to postage rate increases, International Shipping on nail lacquer will no longer be available on our Big Cartel store. All orders placed before this date will be processed and shipped.

Glitter will continue to be available for shipping. Please be advised that packages over 500g may be subject to additional shipping charges. For your information, a package of two or more Franken Kits will typically go over the 500g mark. |
