Bloglovin vs Google Friend Connect

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Good afternoon all!! Apparently we are losing Google Friend Connect in a few weeks, and while the blog will remain, if you are following only via GFC, you will no longer see us in your feed. I will be looking into other following options as well, but for now I would greatly appreciate it if you clicked on the link above, and followed us via Bloglovin. I use Bloglovin for my own feed for the blogs I follow, and I love it because it comes straight into my email, with thumbnail previews of the posts. Currently the majority of my blogs posts  are related to press releases, restocks and giveaways, simply because with managing the business I am short on time. BUT I do have some new things in the works, which will allow me to get back to a more regular blogging schedule, and share other non Girly Bits related things.

I have spoken to a few other bloggers, and decided that I am going to run a guest blogger series. I can't tell you how many times I run across a blog that I thoroughly enjoy, and they have stellar photos etc and I really want to share them with you. So instead of just posting a round up of links, I would like to have the occasional guest post. And the variety in content will be nice as well. It will still be nail related, or at the very least beauty related.
What do you think? Would you like to see some guest posts? The blogging world has exploded since I first started, and I think it's harder for really new bloggers to get noticed, and I know I often stumble on a great blog that I have never seen before.

Alright, I am back to work now. Thanks for reading, and thank you for considering following on Bloglovin. You can click the link above, the icon below or the button on the left side bar.

Glittering Elements- Candy Love

Good afternoon!

I wanted to share with you, a polish I recently had the opportunity to try. It comes from Australia, and it's a new brand called Glittering Elements, and the colour is called Candy L♥ve
How cute is that with the little heart in the name?
It's a soft baby pink shimmer, with multiple sizes of satin glitter in pastel shades of pink, blue and green, and some white hexes and bars. It's very soft and pretty.

I applied three coats, and a top coat here.

You can see the balance of glitter here, which in my opinion is perfect.

I didn't have any issues with the formula and application was good. The glitters spread out nicely, and are not too overpowering. The first coat goes on with a good amount of opaqueness, but you do need two or three coats for even coverage, as is standard with most light pinks, and blues as well.

Unfortunately, I do not have any pricing info or launch dates to tell you, but I am sure she will update her Facebook page with that information.

I don't believe she has launched her line yet, but you can check her out on Facebook HERE

I am a little indie obsessed at the moment, and my indie purchases far exceed my mainstream brand purchases now. What do you find yourself buying most of?
Do you like to try new brands, or do you tend to stick with those you know well?

Thanks for reading, and have a great day!!!
Pam
